On a volcano

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3, 7

Only a few kilometres under our feet there is a bubbling incandescent magma. If we dream of the enorm pressions to which this fine crust is subdued, then the reason for earthquakes which sometimes touch certain regions of our planet and volcanos can be explained. Volcanos are like cracks of the earth's crust. The melting elements escape from the volcanos.

Yes indeed, such disasters are fearsome. However, let us tell you that the whole world is like a big volcano. "The present heavens and earth are reserved for fire by the God's word" (2 Peter 3, 7). This decree is irrevocable. The world is becoming such a swamp of immorality so that the day is near when God will suddenly put an end to all of this. There is only one shelter for man, Jesus. He who was crucified offers a message of everlasting salvation to everybody. Let us wake up, repent, forget our illusions, discussions and pride. Let us get to know Christ. Come and tell him: "I am lost... you are my Saviour."

Wake up, the world is passing by, death is here, today God is offering us his grace, let us grasp it!
