Which is the way?

Jesus says: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me." John 14, 6

Fortunately, there is a walker who can show the way. This walker is a chatterbox. He starts to speak about life, mountains and weather.

As for the village where our friend wants to go, he does not know the way. Maybe it is this way or maybe that way.

A mountain dweller arrives. She lives in the village where our friend wants to go. She even knows the house he wants to visit very well. She says: "Follow me." The sure way was a person.

It's no good to know the different religions, to compare the different ways which man can use to try to gain heaven. It's no good to discourse on philosophy nor to be interested in eastern religions. It's no good to know that God exists and to discourse on the Bible. If one is lost the only important question is: Which is the way?

The answer is as short as the question. Jesus says: "I am the way" (John 14. 6). "Follow me" (John 21. 23).

"Salvation is found in no-one else" (Acts 4. 12). Jesus is the only and whole way. Today he is the way.
