Wonders

According to the opinion of the scientists the telescope Hubble took astound pictures of the limits of universe. These photos show big warning clouds which receive their last beats of the sun going down. Their outlines are so clear that they seem close by earth; but these are not ordinary clouds.The light which illuminates them is not the light of the earth but the radiation of the nuclear furnace in the middle of a handful newborn stars. They are 7000 light years away from our planet, this distance is more than 400 million times the distance between sun and earth. We get dizzy. E. Weiler, the boss of the Hubble project says: "When I see these new pictures from space, I really am overthrown."

More than 25 centuries ago the prophet Isaiah gave us his amazement in front of the greatness of our Creator: "Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has led the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?" (Isaiah 40, 12) Do we realize that this great God Creator is also God Saviour? "Glorious and majestic are his deeds and his righteousness endures for ever. He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate" (Psalm 111, 3 & 4).
