After 12 years of illness

Who is this woman who comes closer to Jesus to receive an expected help since 12 years?

A lot of other people touched Jesus without receiving any benefit. However, this woman's faith activates the Lord's power. To be in contact with the Gospel or with faithful Christians does not communicate salvation for the soul. It is only when the heart receives God's word that one is saved: the healing of the body is a picture.

Jesus stops so that this woman who would have prefered to stay hidden comes out from her shadow. She is shaking and testifies in front of all and she receives an answer from the Lord: "My daughter", from now on a relationship is established between Him and her.

" Your faith has healed you". The needs of her soul are satisfied.
" Go in peace". She continues her way in security.
"Be healed from your illness" : her healing is complete and definite.

It is like this for salvation of our soul. We are saved by grace, through faith (Ephesians 2, 8) and our deliverance is guaranteed. However, if there is not a genuine and complete confession there will not be a joy of salvation. Our inner state determines our condition in front of God but the testimony of our life justifies us in front of men (James 2, 24).
