Wiser than the scientists

However, since one and a half centuries distinguished theologians try to prove that the Gospel was written a long time after the death of Jesus and by unknown authors; probably because they do not accept certain fundamental truths of faith. In order to reduce it's range they claim that Jesus never taught them and that it was the first Christians who invented it for a good cause.

These affirmations have had a pernicious influence on faith at the beginning of the last century. Even some believers believed that they had to accept these affirmations and they were discouraged in their convictions. However, God is never put out-of-date by human unbelief. As a result since about twenty years the situation has changed. Very old extracts of the Gospel have been discovered in several places. The scientific world has to acknowledge that the Gospel was written by the generation who knew Jesus.

Consequently, simple believers who throughout centuries received what the Bible says have been wiser than the wise who refuse to believe. We will always have a reason to trust the Lord and to receive his teaching. Faith is to believe that what God says is true and it places God's thoughts over our own arguments. Faith will always finish by being right.
