Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? ... On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone? ... Have you comprehende the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this. Job 38, 4, 6 & 18

Search for our origins

If man is a product of the big-bang as say the cosmologists and the astrophysicians, what is the cause of the big-bang?"

Jacques Monon, inaugurating his pulpit of molecular biology at the College of France, declared that the man had emerged "by chance" of the material universe. But another famous physician, professor Alfred Kastler, answers: "The idea that the universe is created by itself all alone appears absurd me. I design the world only with one creator, therefore God. One only atom is so complicated, it is arranged with so much intelligence that the materialist universe does not make sense."

At this point of time we like to listen to the Creator himself speaking to us about his work. "At the beginning God created the skies and the ground" (Genesis 1, 1). "By him were created all things, those which are in the skies and those which are on the ground, the visible ones and the invisible ones" (Colossians 1, 16).

But still let us listen to what God announces in his Word. One day, "the skies will pass with a whistling noise and the set ablaze elements will be dissolved" (2 Peter 3, 10). Between the two our own history is registered. It makes sense for the glory of God, if we know to listen to it and believe it.
