God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Therefore, let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2, 32 & 36

God is completely satisfied

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4, 14). This is the work which Jesus Christ had to do when he came to live on earth. In fact, he gave himself as a ransom for all men (1 Timothy 2, 6). However, the question is as follows: Did God recognize his work? Was God satisfied by this sacrifice? It does not concern our appreciation of what Jesus did. Only God's appreciation is important.

God shows us his whole satisfaction. First of all he resurrected his Son from the dead, a proof that sin has really been atoned for. Secondly, God made him ascend to heaven in front of his amazed disciples.

Two angels are present to announce: "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1, 11).

Finally, God gave him a place of honour at his right. About 20 scriptures in the New Testament mention this. This place is God's answer to the challenge which was in front of him when Jesus was on the cross; "Let God rescue him now if he wants him" (Matthew 27, 43).

Should we not also be satisfied with the job fulfilled by God's son if he is? Can we doubt of the perfection of salvation which he offers to us and of which we see the proof in such a way?
