On earth and in heaven

Sin entered this earth and proliferated like a gangrene for evil. The Son of God visits this earth, he died and was resurrected here. On this earth sin has abounded and grace has superabounded.

Jesus is now in heaven and hidden from men's eyes. On this earth he will be revealed and seen by everybody. On earth angels got to know immensity of God's love; on this earth they will see the results. On the same earth Jesus was humiliated and the same Jesus will be glorified as Son of Man. If earth is only a small point in the whole universe, what God has done and still will do is immense. The star has nothing common with the importance of what happens on earth.

For us believers the heavenly places are our residence because we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, we are objects of his love. Today God knows the heirs and they are gathered together on earth. Tomorrow they will be happy in their heavenly heritage; and Christ himself will be the boss of a family which will always be happy in heaven. Are you a part of this family?
