Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. Matthew 12, 33

The tree and it's fruit

However, sin has fundamentally ruined this race which formerly was created so nice. The tree can have a good appearance: if its fruit is bad, the tree is bad. Man does not lack of pretentions and besides he often is able to be noble, generous, brave and devoted. However, these qualities do not save anybody and beyond this man risks to have a high opinion of himself when he has these qualities.

Let us open our eyes to see the moral state of society. All over there is injustice, reign of the strongest or the sliest, money which dominates, unhealthy desires which secretly animate apparently honest existences turn into shameless corruption. We rival with pretentions and because of satisfaction of pride families and firms are destroyed. Do conflicts, wars and battles not come from the human heart? Everybody is jealous of what the other one has and jealousy leads to violence. As for corruption of morals is there a sphere where corruption does not exert its devastations?

Fruit are bad. The tree is bad. There is no remedy, if not a transplant which will communicate a new life, a new nature. This is why Jesus said: "You must be born again" (John 3, 7).
