9th March Look at the simple things (1) Some people believe, others don't believe. It seems that many have never questioned themselves about knowing exactly what they believe and what they don't. Some believe in unbelievable things, whereas others refuse to believe in obvious things. I, personally believe, but I also know what I believe. I don't only believe what I see, because otherwise I would deny that atoms and waves exist; I also believe in things which I don't see, which therefore are worthy to be believed. What shall we believe? What I believe is recorded in an outstanding and unique book: the Bible. Has man never heard speaking about a book which was written a few thousand years ago and which is in all the libraries today and holds the world record in sales? Try and explain by logical means that more than 40 authors wrote the Bible. Most of them didn't even know each other, they lived in different countries and throughout 16 centuries. They represented each level of society. However, they could write a book which is characterized by unity of fantastic thoughts and having an overthrowing message which radically transforms thousands of lives. This book is really the Word of God. |
