Taking care of our reference marks

It is impossible not to ask questions when news reveals to us what happens in the world we live. One is horrified to hear of perversions, complicities, crimes and money traficking.

How can such a moral deterioration, violence and corruption be explained? The Bible teaches us specially through the verses for today: Men put God aside and they don't accept his rights as a Creator.

Nowadays Man becomes God in our society. Society tries to facilitate satisfaction of all human envy: disorderly sexual satisfactions, immoderate taste of power, endless love of money, etc. Society eases rules of functioning in order that every one can behave according to his pleasure. Things which were reprehensible yesterday are tolerated today and will be legalized tomorrow.

How can a Christian live in such a world?

- First of all he finds his reference marks in the Bible. The Holy Spirit reveals them to us if we honestly seek God's thought.

Secondly, in living according to what we have found in the Bible, to know that we don't wish to please a list of permissions and prohibitions but a Person and we wish to imitate this Person.
