Revival

man

New Age is a name which is given to a pseudo-religious movement which comes from America. This movement claims to substitute failing Christianity to assure promotion of humanity. New Age is impregnated with occultism, inspired by paganism and it integrates different philosophies. The New Age movement wants to establish an era of success on earth under the leading of a superman. It promises the coming of this superman. According to the Bible this superman is no-one else than the Antichrist.

The Christian believes in a totally different movement "New Age" which started at Whitsun nearly 2000 years ago. God inaugurated a new era of blessings by the death, resurrection and ascension of his son.

- From then on jewish and gentile believers are one only and new body (Ephesians 2, 14 - 22).
- Those who are purified by faith in Christ are part of a new creation (2 Corinthians 5, 17).
- These believers distinguish themselves by a new life (Romans 6, 4) which they received.
- They are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3, 13).
- They will sing a new song (Revelation 5, 9).

More or less everybody longs for a revival. We don't always realize that this revival starts in our own heart and that only Christ can provoke it.
