Jesus died to give us life

Men can die for a noble reason, courageous rescuers risk their lives for their fellow men in danger. However, what does one say about him who died for his ennemies? This is what Jesus Christ did. He offered himself as a sacrifice even for them who killed him.

This is God's love which "when we were still sinners" gave his Son for us. We, the humans showed all the evil in our hearts by not supporting Jesus, the perfect man and crucifying him who came to us. Not only the chiefs of the Jewish people at that time, neither Pilate and his soldiers are responsible for this crime but the "whole world". We are a part of this world.

Now, we see the results! Once the work of salvation is accomplished to God's glory, God receives the repentant sinner with love. The mortal man who trembled in front of death can now be sure of everlasting life. The believer who is saved is led to God himself and he can call him Father.
