Make pearls

a pearl

A simple grain of sand penetrates into the shell of an oyster produces an irritation which urges it to get rid of the shell. However, if it doesn't succeed it will patiently enrobe this foreign body with the mother of pearl and will make this nature marvel which is called a pearl.

Nowadays there are a lot of irritation subjects, small and big: annoyance at home, troubles at work and complications of life in society. Why not make a "pearl" with these irritation subjects?

Malicious remarks and non deserved reproaches which one makes to me are the grain of sand which hurt! However, answering with gentleness is a pearl with a high price. I am object of unrighteousness and errors: the grain of sand! Having a spirit of renouncement which accepts without mourning is a pearl of a high value. The foreign body is the test which occurs in my family or health. The fine pearl is when I am confident and calm in the middle of the test. This mishap which first annoyed me will help to make another pearl by the patient work of the Holy Spirit.

All these pearls will have been made patiently and secretly at the bottom of the sea. However, the moment will come when in heaven they will be admired in the glory of Christ and his grace.
