They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. 2 Thessalonians 2, 10 - 12

Roman power is restored

The Bible declares - and everybody feels it - that we are approaching a great world crisis like there never has been before. The Bible speaks in an imagining way of a "beast" which once was, which now is not and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction (Revelation 17, 8). This beast concerns the Roman empire which will be restored. It's power will be vast. "The whole earth will admire it" and one will say: "Who is like the beast and who can make war against him?" (Revelation 13, 4) The reappearance of this power seems imminent. What will come with this beast is not less terrible: another "beast" (the Antichrist) will rise, make miracles, attract men and make them slaves of Roman authority. Nobody will be able to either buy nor sell unless he has the mark of the beast (Revelation 13, 17).
