18th November But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5, 8 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5, 21 Love proofs While I am running in the halls of the underground a poster strikes my attention: "There is no love there are only love proofs". Who can use such a maxim to advertise? I stop and note disappointed that this advertisement comes from a famous jeweller.

However, this sentence drives me into my memory. When I was a young student my vision of the world was really sad. For me it was a place of permanent conflict of egoistic interests, a black and white sheet, without warmth and hopeless. In regard to God I doubted of his love: how can he see evil without intervening?

These were my overwhelming and sad reasonings. However, I decided to read the life of Jesus. So a thought grasped me: if such a man lived on earth, this could give hope. The good exists and therefore my life can have a sense. And if God sent such an example of perfection to our earth this is a proof of his love!

However, there is more to this. Jesus was not perfect for his own glory but by love for God and for us. He loved evil men. He got involved in their lot up to giving his life to save them. God so revealed our importance for him and how much he desires our delivrance and success. He proofed his love and he wishes that our lives are filled with this love.
