For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been cleary seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. Romans 1, 20

Are the Gentiles responsible?

They don't have a Bible in their hands. Therefore, they don't know the word of God. They have never heard about the Lord Jesus, the Saviour.

Is God's word the only testimony of God's existence? No! The creation is a magnific proof of the greatness of the Creator. Creation is controlled by unchanging laws which fix the rhythm of seasons, the reproduction of sorts or the universal gravitation. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" (Psalm 19, 1). These demonstrations of God's power are accessible to the intelligence and sence and they are indispensable to every human being unless he refuses to see them. More, man really knew God until the flood: nothing is mentioned about idolatry during that period. The circumstances which surrounded the flood and the sign of the rainbow spoke about God's majesty and his mercy. Noah's descendants communicated this knowledge of God to the following generations. Besides, traces of that transmission are found in the traditions of several gentile nations. Alas! man forgot step by step what was transmitted to him by turning his back to God and turning to idols.

God, who is righteous, will estimate their degree of responsibility. However, you who have heard of Jesus and who have the Bible, what have you done with these things?
