So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 4, 18 & 5, 7

Pilotage without visibility

A pilot of an aeroplane often flies without visibility, without any landmark in regard with the ground and the stars. He totally depends on his instruments to know in which horizontal or vertical position his aircraft is.

The believer also has an instrument, the Bible, to indicate his position in front of God. For example, it says, that by faith we have peace with God and that we are in his grace (Romans 5, 1 & 2). However the feeling of my weakness overruns me and I ask myself if God really can accept me with all my evil thoughts in my head. Or else I am in a difficult trial of wich I don't see the end. Am I still in God's grace?
