Lord, I thank you
Lord, I thank you for your light,
I thank you for all the clear mornings,
I thank you that you hear my prayer,
and that you are my support.
I thank you that you have given them to me.
I thank you that if love changes
you want to forgive.
I thank you Lord for all joy,
I thank you for my different jobs
I thank you that if suddenly I sag
you carry my burdens.
Lord, I thank you for the old age,
I thank you for the small children,
I thank you for your promises,
for your constant care.
I thank you Lord, for your word,
thank you that you use it to teach me.
Thank you that your word is my compass and that it leads me.
I thank you Lord for your presence,
thank you for your perfect salvation,
thank you for the gifts you distribute to all who are chosen.
Thank you Lord for your power,
thank you that you give us the Spirit.
Thank you for your vast love which follows us everywhere we go.
