The Futuroscope of Poitiers

One of the pavillons of the Futuroscope of Poitiers, France (european park of pictures) shows a big report of Brazil. The circular hall has 9 screens which project simultaneously. So the spectator is placed in the heart of the scenery of this huge country, as if the spectator himself would be visiting the country in reality.

This restoration of the pictures of a field of vision of 360° degrees amazes but also reminds the limits of human vision. However, human vision is enough to admire the beauty of creation.

We can only bow down in front of the Creator who conceived everything for his glory: "For by him all things were created: all things were created by him and for him" (Colossians 1, 16). This testimony of the creation invites man to praise him: "Remember to extol his work, which men have praised in song" (Job 36, 24).

More exactly, the testimony of the written word, the Bible, is added to the testimony of the creation. It's essential message concerns Jesus Christ. God who became man to reveal his love and to save us.

After having gazed at God's power in his creation, man is invited to open the eyes of his heart to his love: the good news (the Gospel) of God's grace who offers salvation to lost men if they simply believe in Jesus Christ and in his work on the cross.

Let us open our eyes to the marvels of creation and our hearts to the treasures in God's word.
