Listen to our God

God only requests one thing which is simple and obvious from us: he wants us to listen to him.

The time we spend to approach to God and to study his Word is the time which is used best and which has a great interest.

It is good to read the Bible with continuation and not with chance, to read it with a plan, a method and to have a fixed moment. We should read it with attention, prayer, and humbleness. God speaks to the human soul in silence. Let us teach our soul to be silent in front of God.

God wishes to do good to you. He tries to do it. However, often he has difficulties to find you: you are so occupied and you never have time. No time to approach God! No time to listen to his voice! No time to feed your soul! No time to receive God's grace!

Don't let us believe that it is necessary to understand and explain everything in the Bible. The holy Scripture goes beyond us like God himself. It is in proportion to our obedience to our submission and faith that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth (John 16, 13).
