See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? Hebrews 12, 25

Messages from sky?

Astronomers of Harvard sent a message in space to try to discover the trace of an intelligent life there, and they are waiting for an answer. Their "ear" which is 26 metres in diameter is a parabolic aerial located close to Boston. It is coupled with a complex receiver and computerized which makes it possible to listen to and to analyze 128' 000 frequencies at the same time, 24 hours a day. What a waste of time and money! Ten years later the cosmos is still dumb.

To listen to intelligent messages coming from heaven on the other hand is an exercise which the Christians should do every day. For this we neither need aerials nor computers. We have a Master in heaven who took the initiative to speak to us by his written Word and by help of the Holy Spirit. By this means, we receive communications coming from the Lord of the universe.

The team of Harvard does not have any idea of what it could hear. Whereas the Christian is accustomed to these communications with heaven. The messages sent by God always help us to get to know the Lord Jesus and his plan of love for us on earth better. Do you regularly receive messages from above by reading the Bible and by prayer?
