Call for help
If you are one of those whose rebellion and despair can be seen in their whole behaviour: the face is impassive, round-shouldered person, an empty look, uncontrolled sighs or evil thoughts. If you feel like getting angry in a corner with the hope to escape the black clouds of distress in order not to keep the block of stone which weighs on your heart. If you feel alone, useless, misunderstood, a prisoner of the world where people are indifferent or unfriendly, if you are sick of the others or even of yourself. If your life is only a continuation of dull and unbearable days and nobody is interested in you. If depression creeps into your soul like a serpent and if sometimes you have the idea to commit suicide, if you don't have any strength to scream: Help me! Listen I have reasons to tell you: Take courage!
Do you need a refuge or a shelter place? This place exists. Do you need somebody who listens to you and who understands you? This person is very close to you, "an ever-present help in trouble" (Psalm 46, 1). This person is the Lord Jesus Christ. He tells you now like he told all those who were hurt by life and whom he met when he lived on earth: Take heart, son... (Matthew 9, 2).
Ask Jesus to help you, it is him who encourages and strengthens soul and body, it is him wo pays attention to the least of your sighs, because you are precious in his eyes.
