What is better than investing in Jesus Christ and which goal is higher than heaven and eternal glory?

Many people know how to invest their time, their strength, their money in investments which don't pay anything in the next world. Would the Christian not do as much when he thinks of his eternal future? We need to give up things because what already has been used is not available anymore for others.

Above all the Christian is invited to invest himself. The apostle Paul mentions the example of the Macedonians. They were poor people but they knew how to give their money for the gospel and how to invest themselves for the Lord.

The Lord Jesus is the highest example of giving up. One day he said to his disciples: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself (his own will) and take up his cross and follow me." (Matthew 16, 24)

Let us invest in heaven; in heaven there are no thieves, no devaluation and no financial crashes.
