Am I sure of this?

1st July

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3, 16

To loose or to win?

In this world we can loose everything:
- Our money: Bankruptcy and all our savings are blown off...
- Our reputation: We only need to be a victim of a calumny...
- Our work: Let us speak about unemployment.
- Our health: In the morning I can be full of energy and in the evening land in hospital.
- Our friends: Find friends just for meeting is easy, but to keep a real friendship is something totally different.
- Our beloved ones: How many families are broken up because of separations and divorces?
- Our memory: We don't need to be old to start to loose our memory.
- Our life: Everybody knows that he can loose his life at any moment, but we prefer not to think about it, and yet...

- Our soul: One man who was very provident thought he was at shelter of bad surprises. One day he heard this word: "You fool, this very night your life will be demanded from you." (Luke 12, 20) Fool! Will this be the only epitaph on our grave? Fool!

Nevertheless, the Gospel speaks about something which we cannot loose. It is a gift that God gives us and nobody can take it away from us. This gift is everlasting life through faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. Do you wish to accept him?
