A telescope listens to the stars

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to his cry. Psalm 34, 15

Are there extra-terrestrial beings?

Science-fiction is not alone in fascinating with this problem. Very serious scientists try to find out if there are other living beings on another far away planet. The biggest countries have released great budgets to manufacture space probes capable of emitting and catching eventual signals.

Our intention is not to judge such a venture but we only want to remind that the "connection" between God who lives in heaven and men on earth has already been established. God speaks to us and we speak to him.

God communicates with us through his word, the Bible. He tells us everything which he has to tell us: what he thinks about us and what he has done for us. He shows us the way to heaven and pledges us to follow him. He also announces to us what will happen with them who despise salvation which he offers.

We also speak to God by our prayers. God hears all our prayers, he listens to our thanks (when we thank him), he collects our confessions and he receives our praises. The connection between God and men is established so that nobody can "cut" it.

At a time when a lot of people have their "handy" why not have and use the permanent connection with heaven?
