Wave length

His father is tired and blames him as follows: "However, do you never listen to the voice of your conscience?" The child answers his father without malice: "I don't know on which channel it is."

There is another voice which men hardly like to hear: God's voice. Where can we catch it? God speaks to us through his word, the Bible. There he reveals our state as a sinner and he warns us of judgement which is a righteous consequence. God is holy and righteous. However, he also explains to us that he has given a Saviour, his Son himself, Jesus Christ, to humanity. This Saviour has carried the sins of all them who believe in him: because of them he submitted to punishment which they would have deserved. He died for us but if he was layed into a tomb he was not meant to stay there. God resurrected him and so showed that he was completely satisfied with the fulfilled sacrifice.

The only condition to receive this message is to be on the "good wave length". Not on the wave length of human intelligence which is so necessary for business world but on the wave length of conscience: a conscience which is made sensible by the word of God and which realizes it's state in front of God. The conscience is touched and grasps thankfully the message of grace and of salvation.
